What the app is
Savrune helps you read Chinese menus in Sichuan and Chongqing and show your order and dietary needs to restaurant staff in Chinese. It is a reference guide, not the menu or recipe of any particular restaurant.
How the information was made
Dish descriptions, ingredient and allergen notes, translations and dish pictures were prepared with the help of AI and are based on common recipes. They have not been checked against each restaurant. Restaurants may use different ingredients, sauces, oils and broths. Pictures are illustrations, not photos of the dish you will be served.
Allergies and dietary needs
The app cannot guarantee that any dish is free of an allergen or of any ingredient you avoid. If a dish shows no warning, it only means we have no note of it in the common recipe. If you have a severe allergy or a strict dietary requirement, always confirm with the kitchen before eating. Do not rely on the app in a medical emergency.
Menu reading
Text recognition can misread dish names or prices. Always check the original menu and confirm prices with the staff.
Price
The dish guide, allergy settings and the Chinese staff card are free. Menu scanning includes 3 free scans; after that, a one-time in-app purchase unlocks unlimited scans. It is not a subscription. Payment, refunds and restore are handled by Apple.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss or harm arising from using the app or relying on its information.

These terms are in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
