Privacy Policy
Summary
Savrune does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Menu reading and the dish guide work offline, and nothing you scan or type is sent to us. The only connections the app makes are to Apple, for purchases and, if you use it, Apple's translation (see below).
Menu photos
When you take or choose a photo of a menu, the text is read on your iPhone using Apple's built-in text recognition. Photos are never uploaded.
Data stored on your device
The following is saved only on your iPhone, in the app's own storage:
- your language choice and dietary preferences (allergies, foods you avoid, spice level), including any note you type under "Anything else?" and its Chinese translation;
- favourite dishes and the dishes you add to your order;
- your last 30 scanned menus, including the photo and the dishes you added.
You can delete saved menus in the app at any time. Deleting the app deletes all of this data, except the count of free scans used, which iOS may keep in the iPhone's keychain so that reinstalling does not reset it. It contains no personal information. If you use iCloud or iTunes device backups, this data may be included in those backups, which are handled by Apple under your Apple account settings.
Permissions
- Camera – used only when you choose to scan a menu.
- Photos – the system photo picker lets you choose one picture; the app does not get access to your whole library.
Translation of your own notes
On iOS 18 and later, a note you type is translated into Chinese with Apple's built-in Translation feature on your iPhone. The first time, iOS may ask to download a language pack from Apple. The note is not sent to us.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by Apple. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple Account information. The app only checks with Apple whether the unlock was purchased. The number of free scans used is stored on this iPhone.
Children
The app does not collect data from anyone, including children.

菜单照片
拍摄或选择的菜单照片，由 iPhone 自带的苹果文字识别在本机读取，不会上传。
保存在本机的数据
以下内容只保存在你的 iPhone 上：语言选择和饮食偏好（过敏、忌口、辣度，包括你在"其他需求"里输入的内容及其中文译文）；收藏的菜品和加入点菜单的菜品；最近 30 份识别过的菜单（含照片和已添加的菜）。你可以在 App 内随时删除菜单记录；删除 App 即删除这些数据；唯一例外是已用的免费扫描次数，iOS 可能将其保留在本机钥匙串中，重装后不会重置，其中不含任何个人信息。若开启 iCloud 或 iTunes 设备备份，这些数据可能包含在备份中，由苹果按你的账户设置管理。
权限
相机：只在你选择拍摄菜单时使用。照片：通过系统照片选择器选择单张图片，App 无法访问整个相册。
自填内容的翻译
在 iOS 18 及以上版本，你输入的备注会通过苹果系统自带的翻译功能在本机翻成中文。首次使用时 iOS 可能会向苹果下载语言包。备注不会发送给我们。
购买
一次性解锁由苹果处理付款，我们收不到你的姓名、付款信息或 Apple 账户信息。App 只向苹果确认是否已购买。已用的免费扫描次数保存在本机。
儿童
App 不收集任何人的数据，包括儿童。
